
WER'09 invites submissions of high quality unpublished papers describing novel research and/or industrial experiences in the field of Requirements Engineering. Topics of interest include, but are not restricted to:
Papers must not exceed 12 pages including figures, author's information, abstract, and bibliography. They should be submitted through the website, using the 8.5" x 11", two-column IEEE CS Press Proceedings format as a PDF file.
Papers may be in English, Portuguese, or Spanish but English is preferred. During the event, participants MUST present their work in English.

Submitted papers will be reviewed by at least three members from the WER’09 program committee. Papers will be accepted based on originality and relevance to the workshop. Accepted papers will be published in a book with ISBN number and online in the prestigious WERpapers site (http://wer.inf.puc-rio.br/WERpapers). At least one author of each paper should register and participate at the workshop.
Additionally, authors of the best papers written in English will be invited to submit extended version of their papers, which will be further peer-reviewed for potential inclusion in special issues of the Journal of Theoretical and Applied Electronic Commerce Research (JTAER: http://www.jtaer.com/).
